Renee Dela Cruz is a Provisional Psychologist who has 9 years experience working with individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Renee has completed her RDI® Training and is an RDI® Certified Consultant. Renee specializes in the assessment, therapy, consultation and management of children with a range of developmental, social, play, learning and behavioural difficulties.

Renee specializes in psychological assessment and management of Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorders and other common developmental disorders. Renee provides functional analysis of behaviours and skills, standardized assessments of cognition, adaptive functioning, social and play skills. She provides intervention services designed to enhance functioning and quality of life.  Renee visits families in their home, and makes regular observations of behaviour at schools, kindergartens and crèches. Renee assists families to move from diagnosis to active remediation, implementing intervention plans that are tailored to the child’s and family’s needs. Renee has worked with organizations providing counselling for newly diagnosed families and has worked with assessment teams specializing in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Renee often presents educational seminars about Autism to the general public and also presents seminars about intervention to paediatricians, health professionals, schools and parents to promote awareness of effective models for the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Renee has completed her RDI Training and is currently awaiting full certification. Renee has also recently completed her 2 year supervision period as a Provisional Psychologist and is currently awaiting full registration.
